WE THE PEOPLE: THE EPFC WINTER 2017 YOUTH CLASS 

WINTER 2017: 4 consecutive Saturdays beginning February 4, 10 am – Noon
There’s a new president in the White House and it’s time to let him know what’s on our minds! This four-session workshop is all about PROTEST FILMS: we’ll watch historic ones, check out contemporary ones and make our own using Harinezumi digital cameras. Think Global! Act Local! This class is open to youth 12-19 years old; all equipment, materials and instruction provided FREE by EPFC!

INTRO TO SUPER 8 and 16MM Filmmaking - a free outdoor workshop!

OUTDOORS AT EPFC LOS ANGELES | SATURDAY, JANUARY 29: Noon – 3 pm Discover the joys of analog filmmaking with this fun, free, outdoor hands-on intro class to Super 8 and 16mm. We’ll learn about film history, camera mechanics and analogue cinematography techniques and then put our new knowledge into practice as we do some filmming of our own using a Canon Super 8 camera and a 16mm Bolex camera. Workshop limited to 6 participants.
