SUPER SPICY SUPER 8: A Summer Youth Filmmaking Workshop

Tuesday, August 13 – Thursday August 15: : 4- 6 PM

FREE for teens ages 12 – 19 

This three-day workshop invites youth ages 12 – 19 to explore the wonders of Super 8 eco-processing using spices from around the world to create home-made, environmentally friendly film developers. FREE! All materials, equipment, supplies and instruction provided by Echo Park Film Center.

INTRO TO SUPER 8 and 16MM Filmmaking - a free outdoor workshop!

OUTDOORS AT EPFC LOS ANGELES | SATURDAY, JANUARY 29: Noon – 3 pm Discover the joys of analog filmmaking with this fun, free, outdoor hands-on intro class to Super 8 and 16mm. We’ll learn about film history, camera mechanics and analogue cinematography techniques and then put our new knowledge into practice as we do some filmming of our own using a Canon Super 8 camera and a 16mm Bolex camera. Workshop limited to 6 participants.
