Stop Motion Madness? An Animation Workshop with Martha Colburn

Sunday, February 10: 1 – 5 PM

In this animation workshop, we will expand on techniques I have developed in my practice as a self-taught animator. Using vertical glass animation stands and traditional collage methods, the workshop will explore the use of ‘under-the camera’ special effects as well. Participants will weave together their individual or group visions into an exquisite corpse of animation that forms a final work. Art making, puppet constructing, scripting, timing and conceptual approaches to the method will be incorporated into the workshop. All equipment and materials provided by EPFC. Class limited to 9 participants.

Instructor: Martha Colburn

Tuition: $60/$48 EPFC MEMBERS.

Your spot is confirmed when tuition is received online via PayPal or with cash/credit card in person during store hours (Saturday and Sunday noon – 5 pm).
