We’re kicking off 2019 with a cinematic double whammy: the LA Premiere of The Sound We See: A Saint Petersburg City Symphony and an Open Screen!

For the 18th installment of our international analog city symphony series, 45 students from Saint Petersburg New Cinema School explored their city using Super 8 cameras for the very first time! The results are a strange, surreal journey through the darkest days of winter. Project support generously provided by CEC Artslink Back Apartment Residency.

Open Screen follows The Sound We See at 9 pm… You know the drill: bring your films 10 minutes or less and we’ll screen ‘em! Russian refreshments provided! FREE EVENT!
