LA AIR: JAZMIN GARCIA

Thursday, December 15 at 8 PM

LA AIR is an artist in residence program that invites Los Angeles filmmakers to utilize EPFC resources in creating a new work over an eight week period.

Our November/December LA AIR filmmaker is Jazmin Garcia.

Jazmin Garcia is a Director and cinephile based in Los Angeles. She has been developing her body of work through music videos and fashion films and is naturally evolving into the world of narrative film. She is interested in using film as a tool to capture and explore her personal history as a first generation Mexican-Guatemalan-American in order to create visibility and inspire those whose stories are often left out of the picture. With her family as her inspiration, she aims to bring a much needed Latino perspective to the art of filmmaking. FREE EVENT!
