THURSDAY, JULY 6 - ALL THINGS CELLULOID - 8PM

EPFC co-founder Ken Fountain presents 16mm & Super 8 oddities from our
private collection. Tonight he will be screening two venerable classics -
THE RED BALLOON & MR. MAGOO. Popcorn and good times provided.

THURSDAY, JULY 13 - LAAA - STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL - 8PM

Film & Video 825 is pleased to present the very best in international
student video art. The artists selected this year comprise students from the
8th grade through MFA's.

THURSDAY, JULY 20 - ON THE EDGE - 8PM

On The Edge is a documentary covering the brutal murders of hundreds of poor
young women in the border town of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, murders that have
been repeatedly ignored and unresolved by police and governments since 1993,
despite the continued and persistent efforts of family members and activists
to obtain justice for the victims. (58 minutes, 2006, in Spanish and English
with English and Spanish subtitles)

THURSDAY, JULY 27 - GREENWICH MEANTIME - 8PM

On April 4, 2004 one hundred filmmakers from around the world were asked to
shoot 60 seconds of video from 12:00 to 12:01 Greenwich meantime. Here are
the results!

FRIDAY, JULY 28 - OUTDOOR LABOR FILM FEST - DUSK

El Pueblo Historical Monument, in collaboration with California Exhibition
Resources Alliance (CERA) presents AT WORK: THE ART OF CALIFORNIA LABOR.

SATURDAY, JULY 29 - HOUSING & DISPLACEMENT FORUM - 3PM

Join us at the Echo Park United Methodist Church as various community groups
discuss housing rights, gentrification and the changing urban landscape is
Echo Park. The event will include live music, films, and workshops. FREE!

SUNDAY, JULY 30 - NEIGHBORS FOR PEACE & JUSTICE - 6PM

Join us for our monthly matinee series of political film work. New community
curators Neighbors for Peace and Justice, present films encouraging us to
