FREE ONLINE EVENT!

Film Friends is a monthly series that brings established and emerging filmmakers together online for informal discussions on everything analog cinema. Series 1 features eco image-makers from around the world! Zoom in on November 18 — 10 AM LA time, Noon Mexico City time — as we continue the series in conversation with eco-filmmaker Andrés Pardo, aka General Treegan. Free event! All welcome!

My name is Andrés Pardo better known as General Treegan. I’m a film editor, documentary, and experimental filmmaker. I’ve been cutting for more than 20 years. I also research, promote, and teach the film lab process always trying to show that there’s no need for special gear.

At the moment I’m working on 3 different paths for B&W film developers, cooking wastes, things I gather walking my dog, and what I call “simple developer” that is a developer made with water, wood ash, and clementine peel powder.
