“Hello! Thanks for tuning in. My name is Naomi Uman. I am originally from New York, and currently live in Mexico City. I make films and other things born out of awe. My work focuses on the things we can do with our hands, often living and working with rural people. I have lived and worked in rural Mexico, Ukraine and northern, rural Albania admiringly documenting the lives of the inhabitants that I find there often with a special focus on women’s work.” — Naomi Uman
