EAR MEAL

Saturday, March 11 at 8 PM

Meet the team behind the underground L.A. webcast, Ear Meal. In January 2010, a group of artists, under the online network, LAArtstream, ventured on a six year weekly webcast to humbly document the Los Angeles experimental music and sound arts scene. On a mission fueled by passion and with no budget, this modest production out of a garage in Koreatown, hosted a who’s who of the city’s thriving noise and sound art scene. Get an inside perspective of an artist-driven-online-production, the technology behind the project and the inspiration that kept it going. EARMEAL TEAM – NISA KARNSOMPORT, EPFC CURRENT LA AIR ARTIST ALAN NAKAGAWA, AND MARK WALSH – IN ATTENDANCE!

Doors 7:30 PM. Admission $5.
