CITY OF ANGELS ’17: The EPFC Fall Youth Class

10 CONSECUTIVE SATURDAY MORNINGS, 10 AM – NOON, BEGINNING SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16

An experimental documentary class focused on family and community stories… The fifth in an ongoing series that began way back in 2005! This class is open to youth 12-19 years old; all equipment, materials and instruction provided FREE by EPFC! Each participant will make their own short film that explores, examines and celebrates our home, the City of Angels.

The first session on September 16 is an orientation session for all participating students and their parent or guardian.

The project will premiere on Sunday, November 12 at a venue to be announced.

Instructors are EPFC Youth Film Program alumni Gemma Jimenez, Walter Vargas, Jade Faith and Eliza Jimenez.

Each month we'll develop half a roll of black & white film with caffenol and the other half in a fresh seasonal soup... Recipes and supplies list provided prior to the workshop for those who want to process along in real time!
