INTRO TO SUPER 8 AND 16MM - a free outdoor workshop!

OUTDOORS AT ELYSIAN PARK, LOS ANGELES Sunday, May 22: 1 PM - 4 pm Discover the joys of analog filmmaking with this fun, free, outdoor hands-on intro class to Super 8 & 16mm. We’ll learn about film history, camera mechanics and analogue cinematography techniques and then put our new knowledge into practice as we do some filming of our own and possibly even some hand processing! Workshop limited to 6 participants. Location details provided upon sign up and confirmation.

May 25, 4 - 5 pm, online via Zoom. In this workshop for poets and new poets, filmmakers and new filmmakers, we begin with the natural wonders of the season as our inspiration to write and share haikus and transform them into short films. Free event! Everyone welcome!

New to Premiere Pro? This Basics class will help you learn how to professionally edit video. Instructor Will O'Loughlen will breaks down the entire import-to-output process—ideal as an overview for new editors, and a good crash course for editors migrating from other platforms. This class is offered free online via Zoom; participants are welcome to work along with Will on their own computers equipped with Premiere, or simply observe.
