Come watch a beautiful images dance upon a screen in your own neighborhood.  Shows begin promptly @ 8PM and are $5 (unless otherwise noted). The EPFC is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Sell your TV and come to the cinema.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 3 - ROBERT NELSON - 8PM

Come see there rare and gorgeous 16mm films by Robert Nelson projected in
all their glory! This show is curated by Marc Toscano from the Academy of
Motion Pictures.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 8 - RESILIENCE: A FILM BY PAUL BOJACK - 7:30 PM

An average man finds himself in a position to prevent the murder of a
family member -- the unnerving descent of a man caught between resilience
and ruthlessness. FILMMAKER IN ATTENDANCE

THURSDAY, AUGUST 10 - 16MM ARCHIVES NIGHT - 8PM

Please join us from 6-8PM as we welcome our new artist-in-residence Heather
Harkins to Los Angeles. We will have food and drinks to share. Then stick
around for the 16mm extravaganza!!

FRIDAY, AUGUST 11 - OUTDOOR LABOR FILM SCREENING - DUSK

El Pueblo Historical Monument, in collaboration with California Exhibition
Resources Alliance (CERA) presents AT WORK: THE ART OF CALIFORNIA LABOR.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 12 - MEXICALI FILM FESTIVAL - 8PM

An evening of contemporary experimental and documentary work made in the
border towns of Tijuana and Mexicali... The show is a benefit for a sister
media arts center we are trying to support in Mexicali.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 13 - SHOT & A BEER III - 8PM

SHAZ & JP tickle your heart and soul with short films, music, spoken word
and laughter.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 17 - HOT DOG FILM FESTIVAL - 8PM

Artist, Art Critic and Renaissance man Doug Harvey curates a night of films
and videos about, inspired by, and celebrating Hot Dogs. And yes... you guessed
it. We will be roasting wieners in the garden before the show... so come early
to get a bite!!!

MONDAY, AUGUST 21 - FILMMAKER's ALLIANCE - 8PM

Our brother's and sisters at Filmmaker's Alliance (FA) presents their
monthly film saloon. Come see what contemporary narrative filmmakers are
doing with their spare time.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 24 - SLO-MO FILM FESTIVAL - 8PM

As the name implies. All films shot in slow motion. No you are not losing
your mind... yes the films are like molasses.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 31 - HEATHER HARKINS PRESENTS - 8PM

Join our August Artist is residence (Heather Harkins) as she curates a night
of films and videos that excite, inspire and motivate her to create. She
will also be premiering her new work created will in residence here in Los
Angeles.
